You don't think the US is bankrupt? Have you seen their debt? Are they going to pay that debt off by deficit spending every year into perpetuity? Doesn't sound very solvent to me.
I wouldn't lend any cash to someone in a MOUNTAIN of debt and with negative income. But that's just my opinion.
