    Rick Rule (CEO and major shareholder of Sprott Money - one of the largest traders of physical precious metals in the world) had some interesting comments re the physical scarcity meme that you see repeated on Reddit and other social media so frequently

    he reported experiencing zero problems acquiring physical silver in wholesale volume. He said the problem is occurring at a retail level, due to (a) increased buy interest from retail investors, (b) COVID related backlogs in smelter operations (which are needed to recast larger wholesale bullion into retail sizes)
