"Currently the USD is staging a very rapid revival"
OK I'll ask a legitimate question and let's see if I get a legitimate answer.
So the USD is measured in relation to other currencies. So if we know for a fact that all governments are constantly (for decades now) expanding their money supplies to debase and weaken their national currencies (for various reasons ie deficit spending, trade), what is really happening?
If 5 sky divers are falling to Earth and one spreads his arms and legs causing him to glide above the others do we say he is "staging a revival" or are we realists and say that all 5 are falling?
Now if we measure the USD against an asset other than the Turkish Lira it's gonna be hard to see this "revival" unless we turn the chart upside down.
