You mean like the punters you would've told to pin their ears back and go all in in that All Ords Index Fund in 2007 in the run up to its peak of a little over 6700 which then crashed over 50% to a low of around 3100, and those who crystallised huge losses then and since with the remainder of the few punters who managed, tolerated, had the patience, inclination or ability to wait another 12 years until late 2019 to see the red ink on their statements finally disappear ?

As it turns out they would've done much better just throwing a few gold bars in the bottom drawer at sub AUD800 prices in 2007 and watched the price rise to about AUD2200.
