If we knew all that we would all be rich.
The only answer I can suggest is gold rises in response to negative real rates.
As CB's are slow to respond to inflation, real rates are generally negative therefore gold rises. Pretty simple really.
In the meantime, this is the chart Aussie gold stock investors should be watching but we seem entranced by the US gold price. Quite deliberately.
