Gold stock sentiment indicator.
Are we seeing shakeouts or market manipulation?
Junior golds are still being trashed even when news is decent. Removed more from my list of trend holders, some which survived the market crash of '20.
Here is sentiment for our gold sector for the last month. It is now lower than it was a month ago.

For comparison, here is the price of gold in AUD for the last 30 days. Well it is clearly not the gold price in AUD.

Maybe it's the US gold price. Wrong again.

Or maybe the HUI can shed some light on activity. Not really.

Or the XGD. This is my shortest term chart and on the 28/4/20 it was 6879 - right on the yellow dot. That is no help either and highlights an issue with weighted indices. We only know what the majors are doing.

Could be risk-off but a flip through small caps (ETF) charts have no correlation either.

The only way I can suggest covering your ass is to run pretty tight stops and try and pick the bottom if the trend is taken out.
Can happen on no news (sometimes there is a leak like with DCN) or on quite good news.
What I am also finding is prices recovering, sometimes in only a few days.
Seems to be happening to some of the junior nickel and copper stocks as well.
Smells fishy to me.

Indicator fell further on Friday and we are about to take out A$2,500.
Once the juniors begin to run then the real reversal for gold is on the horizon.
