I think any historical relationships, correlations etc can probably be tossed out the window in the current environment of unprecedented market intervention and asset price/risk price distortion which currently exists and which presumably can't and won't last forever ?
Who knows if and when it might regularise ?-maybe the catalyst will need to be another Black Swan ?
