The go for Gold..
Taiwan was a Island of pirates (many Malay) and the Dutch east co etc in which the sea was owned by the Pirates..
The Pirates who won in started Samurai battles, got greedy and then ceded to the mainland after trying to attach it.
It was hard to occupy China if not they RE: gain strength..
China has threatened with nuclear? as is it more unclear as they could do defend conventionally...
China has no real occupation plans for Japan? as many strong souls there that are accountable to others ...
So China has occupation plans for Taiwan, and will defend even if there is offend targeting..
The going for gold will be in Olympic. and then ??? will it be of a kind (US, Korea?) ? attrition? as Japan more logistically dependant.
