That is the worry. Since last year, the correlation between gold and dxy have been most phases -ve but there were some small +ve direction as well. The same with bond yields, there isn't any consistency as well. Gold is very difficult to pick turning points from the ST that turns into the LT sustaining rally. That is my experience anyway, others are more skillful at the timing.
