As for your comment re. corn tin cattle etc I never stated you can't trade it... you missed the point. Those other assets are by and large traded for delivery - and manipulation is constrained as they are commodities that are usually physically moved around and used in our daily lives with short lifespans

That's not true at all, I can trade all the commodities I like without taking delivery from the comfort of my office. There's 'manipulation' as you call it in all markets.
