I'v been asked this hundreds of times, just the other day actually, but ONCE MORE just for you. I couldn't care less if you end up bankrupt buying gold bars. Goldbugs invited me to stay here in 2010. I did buy a couple of gold miners but stated that I was concerned that gold was spiking quite steeply and if it continued, a crash was almost certain. The goldbugs rubbished me, and told me to stay here so they could humiliate me.
And in 2011, gold crashed, as predicted. Not very difficult.
Gold isn't a store of value, but keep kidding yourself. Gold is a terrible bet compared with property and stocks, Peter Schiff and Jim Rickards love people like you.
