Below is my original comment. You have now admitted that 1) and 2) are correct. 3) is simple maths. 1) Skol, as you know and admit, fiat currencies decline in value over time. 2) This is a feature which is known and accepted by central banks and governments. 3) If something declines in value over time, in the long run, its value will approach zero. 4) The gold bugs claim this is going to happen imminently, you like to imply that it will never happen.

The US dollar has been going since about 1790 AD and it's still not worthless. Goldbugs here, ably encouraged but their heroes, Jim Sinclair, Peter Schiff and Jim Rickards, have been banging on for years about the 'worthless' USD. And it's still the best currency on the planet.
