Gold shares and bullion are connected. Not always but mostly and this is an overall gold share thread as well as a bullion thread.
It is far easier to make money out of gold shares rather than bullion, as goes your quoted comments.
Sentiment indicators are very important signals and gold shares are not necessarily joined at the hip to bullion as they will rise and fall on their own metrics.
It would be prudent to hold both.
