I am significantly underwater with my gold stock paper losses (about $50k), but I can't see how they can stay that way for long (apart from one shitty company in particular), given that profit is profit, as ultimately that is how most companies are judged - and they are making plenty of it.

Gold has always been good and will be it is all the RE $ T$ that managed wrongly or rightly.
