If there war in U, stock markets globally will sell off. The money will rush to bonds, USD and JPY. Maybe a little will bein gold but gold miners will likely get smashed unfortunately. IT is the sell and ask Q later mindset.
So I rather the status quo in U as Biden tries to circumvent a war he cannot get involve in directly and neither can NATO. U will be the collateral damage. Just a warm up for Taiwan. Iran will not be twiddling their thumbs because they know both their senior partners Russia & China, will be in the same predicament as them. So maybe another major conflict in the ME?
Not good going forward and even though I didn't think much of Trump, I have already anticipated Biden to follow the popular strategy of making Russia-China alliance stronger including Iran. This is where Trump had a lot more foresight to reward Russia.
