Give it time and let the dust settle, boy who cried wolf comes to mind. It would be honest for them to say we ducked up and are just a bunch of manipulative, sadistic, power hungry freaks. Turn off the propaganda networks and wait until the markets speak. I kind of find this all a bit fun actually because the end game is still on course.
