I've never said that gold is a good long term investment, just that it is a cyclical instrument that makes sense in some circumstances, and that time has come. If you check my posts, you'll see that I've only been long on gold miners since the end of last year, and unlike many gold bugs here, its only a small part of my entire portfolio.
