Interesting video. Naked short selling is illegal on Australian shares, wherever that trader may reside, but i don't understand why they allow it in the states. A trader can only short a share by borrowing it from another shareholder in Australia.
Gold and silver, in particular, on the other hand, is shorted far more than physically exist. Which is why some entities are desperate to keep these prices capped as they attempt to unwind their hopeless positions.
I, for one, would like to see naked short sellers publicly drawn and quartered as it hinders a true market and price discovery.
