Interesting to see what this weeks (20^th 21^st) FOMC meeting will bring, a 0.25% interest rate rise would cause a little pain in my opinion and could be in the cards if the current Gold price is indicative.

That was lower than Portugal (146%) and Greece (185%) similar to the UK (123%), but more than double Denmark (53%) and Sweden (60%).

So the tipping point between struggling on and perdition/loss of country lies somewhere between 146% and 185%.
According to reports China launches its gold backed yuan oil futures contracts in 6 days.
The (supposed) irresistible force meets the immoveable object!
I don't think the Russia China alliance will be moved. They've been working on this for 10 years.
IMO nothing else has the potential to shape world affairs like this event.
