I am not complaining on gold stocks since I have exposure as well as some metal producer. We are discussing the fundamental drivers of XAUUSD and right now price is being sucked down by Powell's commentary but not because of that.
When 1257 couldn't hold, I was realistic enough to see that on the longer term weekly chart since 2016, it was Octuple (8) top. My hope was that each test weakens it instead of strengthening that level but not this time!
Now for a little amusement of predictive tool, equidistant swing, sept17-dec17 has been met BUT broken it this week!. July16-dec16 swing has some distance to go circa 1100 level. This would just break the Dec16 swing low.
I don't know where the low is but I don't see any signs of a technical low yet so far.
