Nah mate, I discovered MMT this year by chance. I couldn't work out why under those Trillions of $ debt pile that US Treasury issues each year, the herd still bid for them in a demanding fashion. Money continued to be issued through these bond issuance and the flow of capital and economy continues to functions.
If I use the example of a typical mortgagee, he/she/it goes to the bank and gets a loan several times their annual salary, why does the bank lend? Same goes with debt-gdp ratio.
I see the results then work backwards. I am not clever enough to predict outcomes.
