there was a walloping in Gold stocks a few days ago. The gyrations are huge but the price of Gold is sitting over $1550 US which is much higher than even a week ago. Lets see if the US $1550 level holds. In the meantime a day down for Gold- though yesterdays price rises of Aussie Gold stocks were moderated by the end of the trading day. For example RED5 hit 37c intraday before settling back to 35.5. Heaps of other examples yesterdays with Aussie gold stocks overshooting before retreating.
