McConnell (Republican) just laying out the rules for Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate ... the Democrats will have 24 hours to state their case over a 2 day period (ie - 12 hours a day sitting punctuated by breaks!!). The Judge won't be present until after lunch. Maybe there will be no witnesses appearing. Oh, and Trump's gone to Davos (he didn't go last year).

Seems to mean a lot of the trial will be heard in the middle of the night (ie - up to 3am?) when American public is sleeping, there will be no evidence and the main man is missing.

When it comes to the US - you just can't make this stuff up!!!!
