Relatively successful cap and attack operation overnight without any serious artillery. Gold indices take it all in their stride as they marched off their lows to finish close to their highs with big tails leaving them poised to break higher. The $US continues to look like its being held around the 97 level. GC futures contract sits at $1779.50 with the nearest month at $1773.80 which is nearly back in line. Looks like a ho hum day awaits. A bit of early weakness maybe. Aussie dollar gold at $2560
