And after all, the last 20 years is probably likely to be more relevant to many of the readership than the prior 20 from an investment perspective with current and immediate future performances even more so.

On this thread we have one person who is extremely anti-gold and many people who are extremely pro-gold. I think it is Skol who provides the balance, although I don't agree with his extreme views.
