    Care to substantiate that post some more with some more information? One day, one week of movements don't dictate a stocks movements over the long term! You post some screenshots of today's trading... good job, shall we look at history though?

    With reference to my last post, which I hope you read in full, I will now compare the stock performances to the price of gold post-GFC. As you can clearly see, the price of gold stocks performed extremely well after the GFC and actually increased the value for the gold stocks in the years after the crisis as the price of gold increased, gold stocks then lost its value as the price of gold reduced when economies recovered fully. I think this fact is more important than today's trading data.

    With reference to Berkshires purchase of gold stocks, they bought in the June quarter, so they are likely up overall from their purchase, if they are down, it is minor.
