Inflation hedge. Most of us have gold miners / explorers so we can get alpha returns during gold bull trends.
Incidentally I see you have multiple oil positions, personally I don't like to have too many correlated positions tied to one underlying. The Aramco position may be the exception given they can produce so cheaply. Not saying your correlated positions are right or wrong.
