I strongly disagree with Jim Rickards on at least 3 points: Common sense should tell that:
The Us is "in a Sovereign debt crisis" the debt is unpayable with hard assets.
"The Fed has failed to produce inflation over 10 years." The massive piled up debt and currency creation is by definition inflationary. May not be apparent in the cost of living, because of the rubbery figures release by the government and the collapsed economy.
"Use Treasury's gold in Fort Knox" Question, why do they not Audit the gold, at current US$58,500/Kg 8,000 tonne not even a Deposit on the outstanding debt let alone the welfare and unfunded liabilities
