Ah, but then you also forget to allow for rent received. Property investment in Australia is a vehicle made possible by negative gearing and borrowed money. It is usually a good investment. Gold and silver on the other hand are protectors of wealth already accumulated. They always perform their job well. I would suggest however their respective benefits are difficult to compare. I have skin involved in both games as I suspect do many players in this forum. I still have the protagonist on ignore as well.
