For some reason goldbugs seem to stick to the stubbornly narcissistic view that they are always correct, and everyone else is manipulating their position. Sort of analogous to generational welfare recipients. Similarly, that is probably why goldbugs remain battlers in the market, while others around them are multi-bagging.
