Fiat money is designed to depreciate, but it still isn't worthless, is it? But who keeps their money in fiat, no one I know? You just pay more for the same product, that's the way it works.
Goldbugs will tell you that gold has gone up because it was $910 in 1980 and now it's $1,800, they can't get their head around inflation.
