This could be interesting as the Pakistani ruling elite are controlled by the Americans as can be seen by the removal of Imran Kahn for an anti US stance when he was prime minister. The Americans will no doubt seek to raise the temperature particularly as they will claim to not be involved. We'll see how they do.
