Very interesting, and quite concerning. I agree that governments will want to go to fully electronic dollars, mainly for the control it gives them over peoples behavious and the economy. I don't think it means hyperinflation. But it does make it easier for them to reduce the use of PMs or confiscate gold if they want to.
