Housing is a need, society benefits when housing is cheaper. Society wants lower costing real estate.
A better situation is cheap housing and comparatively in (fiat) expensive gold.
Because reserve banks killed the natural interest rate equilibrium there is a disincentive to save so people look to alternatives to bank interest. Hence the bubble in Crytpo and real estates with the easy plentiful money in all economies.
A high gold price needs to happen so that finally people are more reluctant to hold gold (and other alternative assets / money) when the value is there in terms of purchasing power for people to no longer trust in gold.. Gold sees everything else as a bubble currently which shows that we have 95% of this gold bull to run before we can revalue assets vs gold and see value.
