Dow futures are down 400 points on new virus variant in southern Africa. So flight to USD = AUD down with gold up it's a perfect storm for the AUD gold price. Don't really want to see a new and renewed covid emergency but it may be the catalyst that sparks the next move up for gold and impose some reality on the equity markets.
