You should also disregard most commentary both amateur and professional, there are so many agenda's one's head tends to spin. Couple with this the overriding failure of all human opinion is the ability to justify any outcome by selective use of information.

To me the only way to make any sense out of the whole thing is to try to identify trends over more than 5 nano seconds.
Look to the moving averages over time , what do they tell you.
I hold gold stocks BUT also have a strategy involving stop loss.
