I totally agree with you on all accounts. Nevertheless we should not be caught up with the rhetoric of the day as it often blinds one's judgement.
I do care when it will happen. Although it must happen, all in the fullness of time, it may be another 10, 20, 30 years or more. We are small fishes in a big pond after all. What we do day by day will determine whether we are swallowed up by the big fish who dictates, or we survive to enjoy the harvest.
Each to their own strategy. I have mind. But it's important for those who are uninitiated and reading, that they do not just follow rhetorical postings as if they are bible truths. There are many such postings in HC. That's why I always advocate to DYOR.
