Don't give the institutions so much credit. Insto's make huge mistakes all the time. Sure they might get wind of a capital raising but thats all. They don't know any other inside information. I know some might disagree on that. If you believe that, your saying SBM are corrupt. What could any company possibly gain by doing that? "Heres some bad news on the quiet so you can drive my company to the ground." Unlikely.
Barclays have recently bought 53 million shares at an average price of 75 cents. That's a big loss already. In the end they are in the dark just as much as we are.
