Despite the Goldcorp offer being approved by the Andean board of directors, Eldorados president and CEO Paul Wright told a conference call Friday morning that the company was not out of the running yet.

Suffice it to say we didnt launch a proposal the day before the Labour Day weekend if we werent serious in our interest in the situation, Wright said. We will keep our options open and youll see what we do when we do it.
