This is a very informative, must read research paper to better understand demand for natural gas in key world regions & implications for natural gas trade over the next 20 years(2015-2035)... addressing the complicated and fast changing LNG industry.
The research was led by the Bureau of Economic Geology's for Energy Economics, the University of Austin Texas, with external collaborators notably... Cedigaz, Chevron Global Gas, Ernst & Young, ExxonMobil, Frost Bank, GE Oil & Gas, Haddington Ventures, Southern Company, McKinsey & Company, Suez Energy North America, Toyota Motor North America.
Mr Andy Flower, a noted LNG professional and consultant, was invited to prepare a synopsis of his views on worldwide LNG supply capacity and deliverability, including trends in commercial LNG contracting. Mr Flower has been working as an independent consultant since May 2001 specialising in the LNG business where his areas of expertise include, strategy, marketing, project structures, shipping, pricing, supply and demand and project economics. He retired from BP in 2001 after 32 years of service, including 22 years working in the company's LNG and natural gas business units where he managed BP's interests in LNG projects in Abu Dhabi, Nigeria, Australia and Qatar and negotiated LNG sales & purchase agreements with buyers in Asia, Europe and the USA.
Would like to think the "FACTS" in this thorough research will give answers and quieten the critics of GV & Co... bringing to light the challenges our mighty team is facing against current market conditions. Unless you truly understand what is going on behind the scenes, think twice before having a crack... by all means though raise questions that solicit a positive or constructive response!
