AQQ is very low grade at 1.8 g/t whereas GDI has an average grade of 5.4 g/t AQQ also seems to have refractory ore which is notoriously difficult/problematic to process.
AQQ has a decent Jorc number (although it is all indicated and inferred) but i note that Aphrodite was previously held by Apex, you just have to look at the production woes that they had at their biox plant to feel a little concerned about the style of mineralisation. Some analysts speculate that if it goes to production they will have very high cash costs per Oz @ around $700/oz
1st production estimated to be 3 years away as opposed to GDI looking at modest production in 2011.
