I can suggest that depending on the MRSA and body site, it does not like sunlight and air movement. That was one of the reasons why hosptitals were built with verandahs so you could wheel, walk the patient out into the sun.

I know this due to oldies friends (health porofessionals) that used this trick to help heal or reduce the infection spread.

Also honey was used on leg ulcers (shsh on the side) to help the healing process.
