Someone is offering their advice to you. Take it or leave it but I don’t think they are picking on you. Samcharlotte is a self declared trader and it might be worth listening to his POV.
My general advice - take it or not - is this. Using leverage is lethal and irresponsible for private mum and pop investors and it should never be packaged and offered to mum and pop investors. It might be suitable for always on traders and those with risk management systems. But just don’t do it.
