I think they required to use Chinese label just because it's easier for consumers to read and understand what they are buying and using for. Just like when we import Chinese food, we need them to label it in English. Otherwise how could we understand what we are buying for? or we just have to learn Chinese as 2nd language....which is impossible
I cannot represent the whole Chinese customers market, but my friends over there are all crazily after A2 for their babies, some of them still feed their 7 yro boy with that which is totally insane for me. But they believe their children can benefit heaps from that.
Trust me, some Chinese might not earn much, but they will spent 120% of their income on their CHILDREN!
I have no concern about the label issue, since there always a workaround and grey market exist as long as people willing to pay for it
