Can't help thinking COP and Senegal initially thought FAR did not fulfill the technical and financial criteria required to obtain government approval and that this was the reason why COP did not take FAR's PE aspirations seriously. Around that time the then finance minister was sacked, also find that very coincidental.
Jon said COP's biggest mistake was not allowing FAR to consider PE, in other words FAR were eliminated from being able to present their case. FAR were prejudged as non starters will be COP's defence IMO.
In my book you are innocent until proven guilty, not guilty and also prevented from mounting a defence.
Still like FAR's chance to come out on top.
