WHile I agree with the sentiment that he is likely making a lot of noise to influence any negotiated outcomes - that book 'Art of the Deal' was ghost written and the guy who actually wrote it was pretty scathing about Trumps business acumen. He seemed to suggest he was a chaotic unorganised bully who just railroaded people into making deals that were favourable to him. That make work when you are Trump and pushing around small business owners (and even some bigger businesses currently through the use of Twitter) but I don't know that those same tactics work on countries. Especially China.
