Fair enough! My point is that the correlation has been traditionally high, it is now low, and it will probably return. Gold down and/or equities up. Who knows?
I wish I knew all the reasons, but there is no question that there is a war premium in a very volatile market.
My calculations say (with a correlation of 100%) NCM should be $7.75. Ain't theory wonderful (and often irrelevent)?
