re: golds up and correlation grant62 did any see Greenspans comments up the US trade deficit today? very interesting...upshot was that he believes the ever increasing US deficit cannot continue, and must correct. He said that he could not predict how this would happen or when, but explained that it must happen.
My impression was that he believes the US dollar will continue to fall at the expense of the US trading partners who maybe holding US dollars/ and or US assets.
