hey Borano does this ring a bell....... a board gets a set of top 20 shareholders and buys a company thats has well .....nothing . the board then, over the next 12 months makes a variety of announcements and maybe slots in the purchase of an old bit of dirt just in case a couple of mates missed the first acquisition and just talks it up (better option if the dirt is OS like in Africa or somewhere remote like that) meanwhile the top twenty are trading in and out over the course of the 12 months but on the anniversary maintain their previous 12 months shareholding levels (unless they get the numbers wrong by say 2 or something) just so that other investors think that others are holding the line on an investment that is beginning to look a bit thin on substance .... i have seen this movie but just cant remember the name of it ......
