What strange thoughts were going through Day's brain when he attempted the impossible on the 18th hole. He takes his medicine gets a bizarre par, more than likely a bogey or a double bogey not a quadruple. He was playing bad and definitely wasn't in the zone, maybe the twilight zone. Even if he was playing well that shot didn't make sense. It was a good lesson for all golfers . Cop your medicine don't attempt a shot that has never been played before. He was 5 under with 3 to go (not on the round overall) and finished square. He won't sleep well.
